Sanity Check

I believe there may come a time in the life of every millionaire when he or she goes beyond the standard "eccentric" and earns the full title of "Wacked-Out Psycho."

CNN, apparently, disagrees. How else to explain the headline: "Eccentric millionaire can't recall details of cutting up friend?"

They seem to have changed the title now. All because of you?

While it's nice to think I might have that much power, the headline was stupid even without my commenting on it.

perhaps eccentric in that he rented an apartment in disguise as a woman, and cross-dressed throughout? he's done other eccentric things as well. i dont think they meant that cutting up his friend was eccentric.
from the article:
"Durst, who sometimes posed as a mute woman while living on Galveston Island, said earlier that he and Black became good friends but had a falling out."

Josh -
That most likely is what they meant, but that doesn't make the title any more appropriate. You wouldn't write a headline describing Charles Manson as "quirky," though he certainly was. (Sort of a kam leih bid'rabbah mineih, for those who know what that means.)

true.
it was indeed an inappropriate headline.

Found not guilty.

Well then I suppose I owe him an apology!
